Ken Follett was born in Cardiff, Wales in 1949 and graduated from University College, London, with a degree in philosophy. Follet first worked as a journalist and then went to work for a small London publishing house, Everest Books, eventually becoming Deputy Managing Director, but he continued to write novels in his spar...
